summons

March 2025 Poetry

Partitions of daylight. Already unweaving
that veil of that by which
first waters already

are called forth are called.

                       *

Briartwined hours of hours now by which.

As yet this unflowering
whisper of early
rain by which.

As yet this. Impartial this. Overgreen
whisper on your lips might only

now only remain.

                       *

Waterveils therein. These hours of hours descending
already that from which that clarified
silence awakens.
                                       Prismatic already that
silence like
daylight. These bells.
