Psychopomp. From ancient Greek ψυχοπομπóς, or ‘spirit guide’.  Conductor of souls to the otherworld; messenger between the ego and the unconscious; god or beast.

Psychopomp Lit invites glitches, reports from thresholds, travelogues from the grave, disordering epiphanies, reluctant bathos and the radically humane.

Founded in spring 2024, Psychopomp Lit has received support from the CUNY Graduate Center Doctoral and Graduate Students Council.
